The People Behind ZAQQ
Matthias (Diplom Kaufmann, ZAQQ Founder) studied International Management and Business Administration at the Dublin Institute of Technology and the University of Leipzig. Since he wore barefoot shoes for the first time a few years ago, he was thrilled. Matthias develops the shoe models together with Michael and organizes purchasing and marketing.
André (Diplom Betriebswirt, ZAQQ Founder) studied Trade Management at the FH Worms and Industrial Engineering at the TU Dresden. His love for barefoot shoes began many years ago. André takes care of the production processes, quality controls, and our heavy equipment.
Christiane (Diplom Librarian and Diplom Business Informatics) lovingly takes care of all customer inquiries - both by phone and email. She manages the order processing and shipping of the shoes. Do you have questions about our shoes? She knows everything.
Helena (Shaft Stitching Master) has learned shoe production from the ground up. With a lot of professional experience and craftsmanship, she can sew our ZAQQ shoes incredibly quickly and with perfect quality.
Andreas is our IT expert. He takes care of the management and further development of our online shop system.
Michael is a trained graphic designer. For him, designing shoe soles and drawing shoe models was completely new territory. But he survived. We worked out 16 variants of our shoe sole with him before we were all satisfied and felt: This is the perfect one!
