I love my new barefoot boots QOLLINS, which I have been wearing continuously for 3 weeks now. They just go with everything, exactly what I was looking for.

I came across ZAQQ through a good friend who has been wearing her SPARQLE boots almost every time I meet her for 2 years. She doesn't even want to do without them in summer. Unfortunately, we have a 3 shoe size difference, so I could try on her shoes, but they were way too big for me to walk in. But at least I got a feel for ZAQQ barefoot shoes.

I thought for a long time about whether I should order the same boot, but then I decided it would be better to choose a different model.

I kept browsing the shop for spring boots. To be honest, it took me half a year to finally settle on one. One thing was certain, it had to be a Chelsea boot that could be combined both sportily and femininely. QOLLINS Brown and QEY West Cognac were at the top of my list.

Since a city trip was coming up and I didn't have suitable and above all comfortable shoes for it, I quickly decided on the QOLLINS because it has a shorter shaft and can also be worn on warmer days. I always travel with minimal luggage and wanted a shoe that I could wear on any occasion. And that works easily with this boot. It looks good with jeans, but I can also wear it with a skirt without it looking bulky. Perfect!
The beautiful warm color also fits perfectly with my clothing style and with the floral decorations in the leather, the QOLLINS also looks particularly feminine despite its otherwise sporty touch.

The Order and Shipping

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the order arrived. To be able to break in the boots, I ordered them 4 weeks before my city trip. However, they arrived after just 2 days. Wow, that was really a lightning-fast delivery.

The First Impression of My Barefoot Boots QOLLINS

What can I say, my new QOLLINS Brown is a dream of a boot!!! I've been wearing it for almost 3 weeks now and I've been thrilled since day one. The sole is wonderfully soft and flexible. My toes have room without the boot looking duck-footed like other barefoot shoes. On the contrary, it even looks very feminine and has a sporty touch at the same time.
However, I must also admit that I first had to get used to the look of the boot. A barefoot shoe, especially from above, looks quite different than a narrow-cut shoe with a high sole.
My friends didn't even notice the difference, some even commented on my beautiful boots. Soon, probably all the girls in my circle of friends will have Chelsea boots from ZAQQ.

The Material and Workmanship

The boot is very high-quality workmanship. The seams are cleanly drawn and look very robust. Since I've only been wearing it for a few weeks, I can't say yet whether the QOLLINS will last for many years. But since I have the good example of my friend with her SPARQLE, I assume that my QOLLINS will also deliver what it promises.
The leather is particularly velvety on the outside, it almost looks like fabric. But it is actually fine suede. Inside, smooth leather is sewn, only the elastic inserts are, of course, excluded. The insole is also made of smooth leather.
At first, the QOLLINS was a bit stiff, but that changed on the first day. Before wearing it properly for the first time, I moved the material back and forth at the heel to make it more elastic. And so I had a great walking feeling from the start.

Wearing Feeling in the QOLLINS

As already mentioned, the sole is particularly soft. Since I'm still getting used to barefoot shoes after over 20 years in "normal" shoes, the soft sole is just right for me. I even feel that they cushion more than many of my old shoes, even though the sole is so thin. I tend to land hard on my heels, which has always caused severe back problems for me. In the QOLLINS, I can walk for hours and the back problems have gotten much better. Perhaps it is also because my gait automatically adjusts when I wear the barefoot boots. I probably land less hard on my heels due to the flat sole, but rather evenly on the entire foot.

Conclusion
With QOLLINS, I have found a boot that fully meets my expectations of a comfortable barefoot shoe. I am more than satisfied and can recommend the QOLLINS without reservation. Surely, this won't be my last barefoot shoe now that I've developed a taste for it. For the summer, I'm already eyeing a pair of SUQAR fabric ballerinas that I really like.
