I finally found the right sandals

Christoph finds his new Qlear Dark Brown much nicer than presented on the shop photos. But not only that, he is also convinced of the comfort and carries the open barefoot shoe to hikes, moves and even in the office. So he found a summer shoe for every opportunity.

I have only been wearing barefoot shoes for about 6 years and I am completely convinced of this concept. So far I have mainly worn shoes from another company and was impressed by the quality. Unfortunately, after a short wearing time, a few of these shoes said goodbye, so I am looking for alternatives.


I had previously bought shoes from ZAQQ that convinced me with their comfort and durability.
I had been looking for an everyday variant for a long time, I had already tried sandals with toe separators beforehand, but unfortunately I didn't get along with it. Finally I bought the Qlear Dark Brown sandals from ZAQQ, now to this shoe:

At first I find its appearance more appealing than presented on the website. The shoe makes a robust and high -quality impression in the processing and regarding the materials used.
The lacing with the Velcro fastener in the middle of the foot is a nice gadget that ensures that nothing slabs through the area.
The toe box is sufficiently large, I was lucky with 45, my standard choice. The shoe does not slip and does not clamp on the foot. The inner leather is pleasantly soft, I hope that it won't rub through it.

I already used the shoe when moving to the 4th floor, got several hikes behind me and were regularly on the road on longer bike tours.
What strikes me positively is that the shoe is less reminiscent of a barefoot shoe, since the thin sole is apparently still padding from the inside. As a result, soil contact is not so direct, it becomes pleasant, but only slightly cushioned.

The Qlear Dark Brown also seems to be built for endurance stress. Even after running for hours, the shoe is pleasant on the foot, does not press and does not give in any direction, as usual with barefoot shoes.

In addition, the shoe looks very good and can also be worn in the office, and since Covid19 the clothing regulations in the office have become more relaxed. So there is no problem for a day in the office.
Conclusion: This Qlear Dark Brown is just the right one for me. It is airy, comfortable, endures something and also looks good.
